These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Esra Chatbot service, dashboard and website widget (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Esra Chatbot provides an AI-powered chat assistant you can add to your website to answer visitors and capture leads. We may update, improve or change features over time.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity under your account. You must be authorised to represent the business you register.

3. Free trial

New accounts include a free trial period. When the trial ends, continued access requires an active paid subscription. We may change trial length or availability for future sign-ups.

4. Subscriptions & payment

• Paid plans are billed in advance for the chosen period (monthly or yearly) via Stripe.
• Each payment extends your access for the corresponding period.
• Prices may change; we will give notice of changes before they affect you.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to: break the law; send spam; collect data unlawfully; upload harmful or infringing content; or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the knowledge, settings and data you add. You grant us the limited right to process it to operate the Service (including sending relevant content to our AI provider to generate replies). You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of your content and for how you use captured leads.

7. AI-generated responses

The chatbot generates answers automatically from the knowledge you provide. Responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing important interactions, and the Service should not be relied on as professional advice.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Third-party providers (such as the AI and payment services) may affect availability.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or where required by law. On termination, your access ends and data may be deleted after a reasonable period.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date; continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
