This Privacy Policy explains how Esra Chatbot ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use our website chat product and dashboard (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email and phone number when you register for the dashboard.
• Business content — the knowledge, bot settings and messages you add to power your chatbot.
• End-customer chat data — messages, and details such as name, email, phone and any documents your website visitors share with the chatbot.
• Usage data — basic technical information (e.g. pages viewed, device/browser) needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use information

• To provide the chatbot, capture leads and show them in your dashboard.
• To generate replies using our AI provider (Google Gemini, and optionally Anthropic Claude).
• To operate, secure, support and improve the Service, and to process subscription payments.

3. AI processing

To answer a visitor, relevant conversation content, your knowledge base and (if enabled) a snapshot of the page the visitor is viewing are sent to our AI provider to generate a response. We do not sell this data.

4. Payments

Subscription payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; they are processed securely by Stripe under their own terms and privacy policy.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as our AI provider and payment processor), or where required by law. We do not sell personal information.

6. Data retention

We keep chat and lead data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
